If you are about to replace your flooring, have you done research into what type of material you want to choose? There are many options, that all have different pros and cons, different pricing, and sometimes different installation methods. It is important that you choose well since a floor will be there under your feet every day for many years to come.

So, what are the pros and cons of linoleum flooring?

One plus for those that are concerned about the environment is that it is made from recycled materials. It could be cork dust or sawdust that is mixed with linseed oil and pine resin. These are all-natural materials that can break down without any chemicals. The fact that they are natural materials does however mean that strong chemicals shouldn’t be used when cleaning a linoleum floor. In fact, it is best just to use a broom or vacuum cleaner to make sure that the flooring will last a long time.
