Far from simply being a practical object in which to check your face, a beautiful mirror can be used to add interest or frame views.
For instance, when you don’t have a fireplace to position your furniture around, a mirror can create the center of the room. Mirrors also work just as well as paintings when it comes to decorative art for your walls, especially along with beautiful frames. But frame or not, don’t only stick to traditional rectangular mirrors. An unusually shaped mirror creates a talking point, and a group of unusual mirrors as decoration will breathe life into a plain wall. They could all be the same or be an odd mix. Alternatively, you could choose one big statement mirror then design the rest of the space around it. While large paintings weigh heavy on an atmosphere, there is rarely such a thing as a mirror that is too big.
