There are ways to incorporate more storage into every possible space. Whether you have a small house and want to maximize the use of space, or you have rooms to customize, the following ideas might help:

Laundry room: A space for counters to fold or clean clothes is ideal. Closets with hanging space and a fold-out ironing boards can be built-in too, along with space for storing detergent.

Kitchen: Pantries with adjustable shelves for changing needs, and pull-out storage can maximize space for bulk and rarely used items. Bins, baskets, and even shoe racks can be repurposed in the pantry to hold cans neatly.

Master bedroom: Depending on how much space you have in your closet, you can add closed and open shelving and a bench, to turn the space into a dressing room. And for real convenience, you could install a motion activated room light and lights underneath shelves.
